My Approach to Queer-Affirming Therapy

I take an integrative, relational, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. That means we’ll look at the whole of your experience—how your personal history, identity, relationships, and environment intersect—and we’ll work collaboratively to support your growth, clarity, and self-acceptance.

Key values in my work with queer clients include:

You’re Not Alone—And You’re Not Broken

Many queer clients come to therapy unsure if their pain "counts," or fearing that they’re too much or not enough. I want you to know: you are not broken. You’re human. And meaningful change is possible.

Therapy isn’t about fixing who you are. It’s about finding what feels right for you—whether that’s deepening your self-compassion, processing painful experiences, clarifying your identity, or building healthier relationships.

As someone who works with multicultural Californians, I know that each person brings a rich and complex story to therapy. My clients often share that they’ve struggled to find therapists who understand the nuances of queer life, especially when layered with cultural or family dynamics. I offer a space that’s warm, inclusive, and responsive to the depth of your experience.
